Hanuljak Knives specialize in the manufacturing of one of the oldest tools of everyday use. Thanks to the implementation of traditional manufacturing processes involving steel that is rich in carbon and other fine alloying elements, their knives have an incredibly sharp and durable cutting edge as compared to the stainless knives produced industrially. They require a bit of extra care though.
The Hanuljak brothers have different backgrounds. Michal studied artistic smithery whereas Kamil focused on the study of artistic joinery. Together, they developed a passion for handmade knives. Fuelled by this passion, they gradually improved the manufacturing process and eventually presented their own range of knives that is inspired by Japanese masters and at the same time adapted for European hands – the Hanuljak Knives.
